Master of Arts

The Master of Arts program at ITS is the first level theological study within Master of Divinity format, with more emphasis in academic areas and less in pastoral ministry. This program is designed for persons who seek to serve in the supportive ministry of the church, but who do not desire ordination to the professional ministry. The program provides a broad background in the theological disciplines pursued in the context of a biblical approach to the mission of the church and the advancement of the kingdom of God in the world in which we live.

Admission

To qualify for admission as a candidate for the M.A. degree, an applicant must meet the same personal and academic requirements as the candidate for the M.Div. Degree.
