Dr. Seenam Kim, president

Welcome message from president

Because I consider you as a prospective student, I would like to introduce you, through this catalog (or the Seminary’s web pages), to International Theological Seminary, its community, and the programs it provides. I hope you to find out in the following pages the institutional aspects of International Theological Seminary, which are distinctive from those of other seminaries.
Despite its relatively short history and thus the relatively small number of graduates, International Theological Seminary has been blessed by God to witness the successful ministries of its graduates who are scattered worldwide. Many of the graduates of the Seminary faithfully serve the Lord and His Church in various capacities after returning to their homelands. We who work and teach at International Theological Seminary are grateful to God for the privilege to train His servants through the years. In recent years, we have come to realize that the ministry of the Seminary has finally begun bearing fruit. This understanding of the Seminary’s ministry is proved at least partially correct by the fact that the Admissions Committee receives a considerably large number of applications each year from all over the world. How do people find International Theological Seminary? According to the stories told by our students, prospective students are attracted to the Seminary by the successful ministries of our graduates, quality theological education, and financial support. I hope you to be able to meet with one of our graduates in your country and hear from him or her about our seminary before making decision on where you want to study.
As an institution, International Theological Seminary is coming to maturity through God’s grace and the generosity of many supporters. Since its founding, the seminary has been striving to provide theological education in the tradition of Reformed faith, particularly, to church leaders in the countries where higher theological education is not easily available for various reasons. If you consider yourself as coming from such a background, I invite you to join the students at International Theological Seminary, many of whom are from the same background.

Sincerely yours,

Seenam Kim
President
