Grants and ScholarshipsSupporting Churches GrantMembers of ITS supporting churches may automatically enjoy a 60% M.A., M.Div., and Th.M. tuition waver and 50% Doctoral tuition waiver upon filing of proper documentation with the business office. Scholarships Qualified students from Third World churches may apply for various forms of scholarship, which includes tuition, and/or room and board. Since this seminary is fully dedicated to developing and training future leaders of Third World churches, every prospective student is welcomed and encouraged to demonstrate his/her promise and potential for leadership in Third World churches. The scholarships are funded by mission-minded churches and individuals who are concerned for the strategic mission to the Third World through the Seminary. All Scholarships for Third World students are awarded in the form of an interest-free forgivable loan. This loan is automatically reduced by 20 % for each year a student serves the church in his home country or mission field. In the event those scholarship students stay in the United States after graduation, then they are obligated to pay back the scholarship they received throughout their years at ITS as stipulated in the Five-Year Deferred payment Plan stated below. Scholarships must be applied for at the
time of application for admission. This is done by
completing the Scholarship Application Form, which is
obtainable from the Office of Admissions. Scholarship students must take a
minimum of twelve (12) units per quarter and maintain a
GPA of 2.67 at all time. Please note that the Seminary does not provide financial support for scholarship students during the summer months. |
